I came across this radio interview of Kim Hyun Joong and I was quite amused.He is as adorable as ever and forthcoming (honest!). Within KHJ also shares his views on JD (being hugged by so many men) . So funny when he say as Jihoo he should understand but as KHJ he would never have understood! (Way to go KHJ!) The DJ openly declare she doesnt like JD! Haaa haaa.... way to go DJ! What was even funnier was when he started laughing soooo cutely when he was trying to sing in the toilet! I laughed so hard hearing him laugh!

Zettai Kareshi Sp brief Summary

For those wanting to watch Zettai Kareshi SP, it seems Mysoju will be hosting the subbed video once it is out. (Link: http://www.mysoju.com/zettai-kareshi-sp/)

I havent found the raw video yet. Once I have any lead, will update here. However below is spoiler brief summary. Please dont read on if you do NOT want to know roughly what happen and the ending....

I heard from my friends in Japan that it is not a recap but seems like an independent episode about 3 years later. However....if you are rooting for Night and Riko, Hmmmm....not gonna happen....

The scene starts with Night running carrying Sou's father on his back, rushing to the hospital. There is a new pair of people (Dr Kamiya) monitoring Night who injured his foot along the way. At the start, it seems as if Night couldnt recognise Riko until he fell from the roof and she fell along with him while trying to grab him. Then his memories came flooding back and saved her once again but he got taken away back by Dr Kamiya to office. Apparently Dr Kamiya has a side story involving her and her bf, who seemed to be become another robot (with his face) in this special episode. 10 years ago Dr Kamiya's bf had died in a car accident ... now a western organisation full of robots army is sent after her but attempt was foiled. However, it seemed the bf robot still "died" in the end.

On the other hand, Night had initially reaffirmed his affection and desire to protect Riko once again.However along the course of helping the other couple, and witnessing the "death" of the other robot, Night came to a new realisation. That as a robot, he can never truly give "normality" to Riko of a proper family. Riko also seem to realise that while she love Night, she cannot be with him as he is a robot. In the end, Night made his own painful decision and said goodbye to Riko.....

At the final scene, Sou was washing the floor of his new dessert place ( seem like he took over his grandfather's place), Riko slowly walked to him. Sou smiled and said "Okaeri" and the story ends with Riko replying "I'm back".

BBF: JK is the heroine!

Hey people, kinda busy this week so havent been able to roll up my sleeves and spend more time blogging. The only drama I am still watching (only for a reason - KHJ!) is BBF and by far, JK is my fav character! She is cool and has guts! She has the resolve to fight for her love, and the courage to let go as well to let the people she care about be in love.

As predicted, JK openly objected to her own wedding with GJP to the horror of his mum. So she coolly walk out of her own wedding, kidnapped JD and deliver her and GJP to a secret romantic spot (not sure if that was suppose to be JK own wedding honeymoon suite). So JD and GJP enjoyed a romantic night with ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORTS of their own.

GJP is such an utter complete whimp! He begged JD, kind of give him courage not to go through with the wedding. Nitwit. If u truly love JD, couldnt u NOT go yourself? Why let someone else decide your life for u? SO if it wasnt your mum, you want your gf to make impt decisions for you? Dumb arse. Not to mention he did nothing except to kneel down before JK and apologise. What on earth did JK see in him? His inability to fight for what he want? A mummy's boy? A little boy dwelling inside a young adult body?

As for JD, She did nothing to deserve GJP either honestly. She didnt fight for him, all she did was to dwell in past memories of the good times but she did nothing. Rem during the sketeton game they played truth or dare, she had told GJP she will break the promise to not let his mum come between them. So in fact, she had already prepare to give him up. So no one has any right to say JK stole GJP because neither the 2 key people put up any resistance. They only know how to enjoy the efforts of other people who helped them like Jihoo and JK. JD and JP all depended on JK to make the stand. Way to go girl! JK is my heroine!

When JKhanded the necklace back to Jihoo to pass back to JD, and she said "You have no idea how much I wish the JJ represent Jihoo and JD", I was like..."How about JK and Jihoo!!!" 2 warm people deserve each other. JD and GJP has IQ of 10years old, so they truly deserve each other. (So dumb that JD doesnt even know how to cut her own freaking fringe with a scissor and need Jihoo to help?! I could cut my own freaking hair fringe at 11yrs old!) And its abit ridiculous that they made Jihoo cut hair like a pro. COME ON! He is rich guy, why on earth would he know how to twirl and layer hair as if he had worked as shampoo boy his whole life? Stupid director. There is a limit to how u want to make a guy look good. Jihoo is a MUSICIAN, NOT freaking hair stylist! Knowing a trade well doesnt mean you will know another unrelated trade well!

Anycase, the drama is comng to an end....sad that I wont get to see KHJ anymore on screen!!! Boooooo.... he will apparently be back on asia tour with SS501 and has not look at any new drama offer script... come back to screen soon KHJ!!! Be our candy delight soon and fill our boring night slots with your 100000million watts smile again! Hooo hooo

Like the penguin married suit scene, and the one below where he wears the hat.... Rather than sticking to the drama plot development, the director is really trying their best to suck in audience using KHJ fans..how sad.

Zettai Kareshi SP!!

Oooooooooooo. There is a Zettai Kareshi Special airing tomorrow 24th March NIGHT!!!!! *Faint from excitement*

Pinch me pinch me!!! My "Hiro" will be in it again! Just when I was fretting I wont see him anymore after the end of Mei chan's butler... (-0-)v

JD is plain annoying

Just caught up to episode 20 and 21 of Boys before flower and Jandi is just so freaking unadorable. I really HATE her defeatist attitude, not to mention spineless!!!

The time when she should actually open her mouth to ask Jihoo for help, she didnt and rather walk aimlessly as a homeless. It's like is she STUPID? What about the clinic place she works at? What about her boss? What about her best friend? How could she be so PIG headed and brainless? Since the previous episodes, she was able to head to the clinic anytime to do cleaning and even brought Jihoo along, so why couldnt she just go to the clinic for an overnight stay first and see if grandpa can help her with a solution? Instead, she rather roam the streets like an absolute moron.

And JK was right. She WAS indeed friend of JD before she was a fiancee of GJP. I think its quite despicable for JD to sneak behind JK back and she rather stay at GJP house and not tell JK. She think JK will never find out? The storyline just get more absurd. Not to mention she looks stupid with the hood over her head at home, and she looks so fat in that fake short wedding gown. They need a better sponsor for the drama.

To be honest, I feel sad for JK. She is really fighting hard to win GJP over even though she knows its a lost cause. It was nice of her to request to stay at GJP house or the mum would prob try all means to boot JD out. At least that is what I think. I am guessing that she is insisting JD to be her maid of honor so that she can swop places with her later at the wedding ceremony. Somehow she is such a sweet girl that I think she will give in to JD in the end and pass her back the necklace later. Well, at least that is the sort of storyline that seems reasonable. They wont paint JK as someone bad for sure.

Did anyone see Jihoo's 10000000million watt smile?
What I was wondering was, wont it be better if JD SOLD the tickets online and get cash instead? Rather than exchange for a box of food? Hmmmm..

Oh well, that's all for my ranting.
I dont care what JD fan says, I just think her character in this drama is simply unbearable. She should also stop puffing her cheeks when confronted in a awkward situation (like in GJP bedroom when the mum and grandma was there.)

Ok ok i better stop before I burst a blood vessel.
Can they just do a F4 special without the silly girl? That would be much more entertaining.

Back in town!

Am back!! Dead tired from all the exploration so i shall do the summary for Mei chan last episode tomorrow! I have yet to watch the front 20mins I missed... Meanwhile, I better get down to downloading my pictures before I forget about them!

I am so missing the Kani (crab) in Osaka now, not to mention the Tako balls and fresh sashimi...sigh. Alrite! Rest for now and back in action tomorrow!

Mei chan no Shitsuji Episode 10 Review!

I want to kick myself so hard...I missed the MOST important scene of the duel in Mei chan no butler last episode coz I cam back late. Missed the first 20mins! Arrrrrrhhh. By the time I ran back and turn on the TV, I only managed to catch Mei chan and Shiori making peace, with Mei crying and hugging Shiroi, with Shinobu kneeling on the floor.

For those who are dying to know abit of what happened in the last episode!
Btw I love the ending!!!! I am not going to do detail summary tonight but basically...

Kento accepted to go to London to further his study as shitsuji. Mei and Rihito was shock to hear from Natsumi that Kento was leaving for overseas and so went back to confront Kento why she hadnt heard anything about it from him prior. They got into an arguement...and Mei stormed off in huff.
Later, Rihito and Kento had a heart to heart silbing chat....

On the same day of the ceremony, Kento also took off alone to leave for London. Meanwhile, Mei was all dressed up for the ceremony to address her Hongo status, however instead of reading from the book, to the surprise of the guests, Mei deviated and talk about the truth of her childhood living with her parents, and how she only know about her Hongo status after their death. She also talk about her happy memeories with all the times she had spent with her classmates....as she paused to turn to look at RIhito for support and him nodding, Mei apologised formally and Rihito helped changed her into her uniform out of her former dress. Then holding hands, both of them started to make way to leave. The rest of Mei classmates and their butler stepped in to help! yelling at Rihito and Mei to hurry up and get out, the rest of butlers stopped the bodyguards aiming to deter Mei from leaving. At every turn, Rika+ Ayoyama, Rin pair helped to remove all human obstacle. Just before they made it out of the building to the Heli, Izumi appeared to fight off the pursuers! Miruku flew the Heli to get Mei in time to the airport for Mei to see Kento off!

At the airport, Kento resigned anf assumed that no one would come. As he was leaving, he was shocked and stopped when he heard Mei call out to him. As they chat, Kento stopped mei was further revealing the "truth". Mei thanked Kento was always being by her side. Rihito cheered Kento on to work hard in his training before Kento headed down the escalator to board his plane, raising his fist up into the air without looking back. (he is soo cool..)

Towards the end.... Mei was seen writing a letter to kento. (she still misspelt ombra and Rhito tried to correct her again! haaa) . Izumi assumed position of Lucia sama. Shiori was seen smiling and holding Shinobu's hand.

And towards the end....This is the best part...
Rihito KISSED mei on the LIPS!!! I was screaming in my room!!!!!!!!! (i bet my neighbor thought I was mad!!!)

I will keep u in suspense what he said until i get back..hooo hooo hooo...
Just as Rihito finished kissing Mei, the rest of the class rushed into the room and seeing the embarrassed and awkward expression....Mei said nothing but Fuji correctly guess what had happened between Mei and Rihito and they all crowded ard her as Rihito stand at one side smiling...

Ok that's all for now as I need to prepare for my Kyoto trip tomorrow and also watch Triangle. More detailed summary next week when i returned!!!

Triangle Episode 10, Triangle Episode 11 and Kiina Episode 9 summary

Here's really short summary for the 2 drama.

Triangle Ep 10
- Sachi died from the gun wound.
- Goda learnt from his sister Yui the content of conversation between her and Kuroki's dad.
- Kuroki shared with Goda that actually his dad has never given up on the investigation of Sachie. He did his own digging ard and pass to his son his own set of findings.
- Apparently the case is related to someone up the police chain
- Goda was guilt stricken he cause Sachi's death and apologise to her mother, but she told him he should lead his own life now and not be hung up about the past as that would be Sachi's greatest wish.
- Next episode, Goda found out who the killer was.

Triangle Ep 11
- Goda told Kuroki's dad that he is determined to find out the cause of Sachie's death 25yrs ago
- Kuroki's father revealed he knew Goda was the first to discover Sachie's body back then and formally apologised for not noticing the hurt that was embedded in Goda 25yrs ago. Goda accepted it.
- Goda went to stadium and sachi's adoptive father appeared
- Goda said the father wasnt sure if Sachie's was his real daughter as his wife was having affair but the father insisted he loved his daughter no matter if he was sure about her kinship with him.
- Kuroki also arrived at the stadium
- Goda said he found an evidence relating to the murder and all was needed was for the father to confess to it. Meanwhile an unknown shooter only to be revealed as the other cop and he was getting ready to aim and take a shot at Goda!
- Goda said the father was the one who had threatened him at 25yrs ago.
- Kuroki arrived in time and stop the other cop from shooting Goda and father, and asked him to put the sniper down
- Kuroki said Goda had figured it all out and set this confrontation scenerio trap for Maruyama. However Kuroki said he had hoped somehow Goda was wrong...
- Kuroki then told Goda it was over, the bad guy is caught.
- The father was relieved, saying it was him after all
- The father said he was glad he left it to Goya
- Kuroki said there has been a problem!
- Maru is now claiming it is a case of Involuntary murder and Goda was furious. Apparently, the murder is 25yrs ago...and the limit has passed...
- Goda recalled about his friend Akimoto being mistaken for him back then as Goda was called Ryo too.
- Goda revealed Maru used to be an active police patrol back then and he was the one who mistoke Akimoto as Goda and was trying to spy on Goda after he had threatened Goda [as a boy then] to walk away from the crime scene. Goda said Maru had warned that he will always be watched.
- Meanwhile, Kuroki evealed the fire at his house could have been arson as well, and not an accident from his sister playing fireworks.
- Just then, Goda was told that Goda is to return to Lyon immediately.
Kuroki was pissed demanding where is his boss sense of justice.
- Goda said he understood but he wants to speak to Maru but was rejected.
- Maru came out of the room and said 'how sad' and walked away smiling with a victorious smile.
- Goda then called out to him, asking Maru had killed sachie hasnt he. The other cop reminded that the murder statue limit is up and nothing can be done and they all started to walk off.
- Just then, Kuroki's dad called and requested that Goda should be allowed to talk to Maru. 'Even if the statue limit is up, but the wound in his heart has no time limit' and kuroki dad said he will bear full responsibility.
- During the interrogation, Kuroki said Maru was the one who kill Sachie [as he was aiming for goda]and her brother in shanghai, and also Goda's parents.
- Maru said Kuroki has no evidence.
- Goda revealed Maru had let slipped about the baseball card he had left behind, which is different from the evidence left behind by another boy.
- Goda emotionally said he had told no one about the baseball card he had lost, so only the murderer would hav known and yet Maru had accurately named the baseball card player of the card Goda had lost.
- Maru smiled and said yes that's right, it was him who did it, and all by himself.
- Kuroki asked emotionally why did Maru killed Sachie.
- Goda said he checked and Maru only has a sister, however upon further investigation, Goda found maru's sister is dead 25yrs ago, out of sucide.
- Sachie's dad company had a staff who had embezzled money and killed herself, and that was Maru's sister. Sachie's dad rem about the embezzled money incident but he did not recall the sucide incident nor the name of the accountant but Goda found out who it was.
- Maru smiled and said that is good, that is great, that sachie's dad is still suspecting his innocent sister, the one who had rob him of his sister. So he has not make a mistake in killing his daughter afterall, this is really god's will, such coincidence, i was on leave and saw the daughter standing alone. It was like telling me "quickly, kill me". Then Maru described the day of incident and said god had let him escaped.
- Goda said he was wrong, extremely wrong but maru said goda is pathetic as he cannot trust anyone anymore and said Kuroki is pathetic too. Kuroki punched Maru.
- As Maru pretended to apologise, he grabbed Kuro's gun and asked Goda to shoot him as Maru had always feared Goda's existence as he had taken Goda's love. then he said he was the one who had killed Goda's parents and brother and everyone else who had been dead.
- Goda started to cry and pointed the gun at Maru but Kuroki stopped him
- Goda said indeed Maru is unforgiveable. maru said 25yrs has been such a loooong time. Goda agreed. Maru said to put an end to everything now. Goda agreed as he unlock the safety latch on teh pistol.
- Then Goda stopped, Kuroki was relieved.
- Goda said he wont shoot as the person he love whould not want him to be murderer and he would live for himself now, but Maru would still live in pain and misery. legally he is not liable but the emotional wound and guilt will leave on forever in him, and its so sad for maru
- Maru said he had fantastised what if the killer wasnt him as he worked with them, and at times forgotten abt the crime he committed, and even wished it was someone else who was the murderer. goda and Kuroki were speechless.

Kiina investigator #9
- She found out why her immediate's clock has stop 15 years ago, his childhood friend has been murdered and the body was never found.
- All this year, he never gave up on any missing corpse lead or that was found.
- Then the body was found, 10 days before the statue of limitations is up.
- Everyone suspected the bf
- The body was well preserved like a waxed body due to the humidity in the place she was buried by the killer.
- The spot she was buried was rumoured to be where spirits gathered (believed to be started by killer to scare off people so the corpse will not be found, but backfired with more people gg for the dare challenge)
- There were skin found under the victims nail but DNA did not match with the bf
- Instead, it was concluded the bf's father had killed her as he was angered when the girl refused the parting fee and break off. So he buried her in the mountain area he owned.

Mei Chan no Shitsuji Episode 9 Review

yeah!!!! I finally found one hi-resolution video link that works! So for Mei Chan no Shitsuji fans, here is the Episode 09 RAW version for your viewing. Big screen and clear video, so much so that I can see the lip gloss shining on Rihito lips! haaaa haa. I am NOT kidding!

I just watch the first few mins and I am already so amused! I think I will like this episode. Rihito is like a shining angel to Mei. I was already laughing my socks off when Mei who was cleaning Rihito's wounds became so absorbed staring at Rihito.... ( he had glowing light like some shining angel and that was when I saw his lip gloss!) They got interrupted by the classmates and bulters and so funny when mei and Rihito panicked! Hiro aka Rihito had such a funny expression that I kept laughing! And when Rin's butler announced he can sense some "sweet aura", teasing the couple, I have no idea where from Rihito whipped out the perfume and started spraying, with a guilty expression! Oh sooo Funnnnnny!!

I am dying to see how this story will developed. It seems from the synopsis that the grandfather named Shiori as the sucessor and Rihito to accompany her to some ceremony. I am dying to find out if its really true or he is just baiting Mei to be determined to fight as a successor!! So much excitment and the drama is drawing to an end soon... Episode 10 next week will be the last episode ...awwwww...and i get to watch it in Japan on TV! heeeee heeee!

Mei chan no shitsuji Ep 09 Detailed Summary

The scene starts with conversation that is deliberately to mislead one's mind....

"Nnno....it shouldnt be done Mei Sama" Rihito said in a quivering voice
"It's alrrrrite..so don't move!" Mei said gently.
"But....this sort of thing...." Rihito replied hesitatingly as the video zoom right at Mei's dorm room door.

Inside, Mei was apparently telling Rihito to listen to her as she applied medication to his wounds. Rihito squirmed in pain each time she daped on his face. "I'll do it myself" Rihito said as he tried to stop her, before adding apologetically that as a butler, he is even making his mistress do such a thing for him. Mei on the otherhand firmly told him otherwise as she had felt it was her fault (that he got into such a plight). "No it's not your fault! It's all my responsibility." Rihito convinced himself. "I have already said it's not your fault!" Meo retorted with much indignance. "No no.. I am being worthless" Rihito said sounding fully disappointed with himself. Mei told him to stop going on about it and sneaked another dab on his face. Seeing Rihito's expression and squirmming away, Mei immediately apologise while Rihito shyly tried to cover his face assuring her he was alright. As Rihito looked up at Mei and bestowed her with his "million watts" brightly lit smile, a bright aura started to glow around him (LIP GLOSS! haaa haa).

As both of them started to stare longingly into each other, their gaze was loudly interrupted by Mei's classmates. At that, both of them were startled and instantly jumped up from bed, instinctively trying to distance away from each other! As Mei pretended to do her stretches, Rihito was leaning towards the wall pretending to do a desperate model pose. (he is soooo cute!) Mei's classmates with their butlers barged in and sensing the queer mood before them, Nezu teased if the group of them was being a lightbulb (intruding on Mei's intimate moments). Mei denied but Rin's butler chirped in saying that there was a "sweet aura" all over the place. While Mei tried to wave the invisible scent away, Rihito whipped out a perfume and started to spray diligently to hide his guilt, while choking everyone else!! (Haaa haa!)

Trying to change topic, Mei asked them on the purpose of their visit. Daimon explained that everyone was thinking of having dinner together tonight. "To celebrate you return!" Miruku happily announced. Fuji added that it was now easier to gather together since they were all living in the same dorm presently.

"Oh I rem now. Everyone's been demoted to Ombora rank" Mei said wistfully. "It's Ombra" Rihito quickly corrected her. Mei clapped her hands together and sincerely apologised to the group, stating that it's all because of her. Rin assured her that it wasnt her fault and Rika who strolled in through the door at the exact moment "haughtily" chimed in agreement, adding that it would only be hurting her pride if Mei should even feel responsible. Rika suddenly remembered to ask for first aid kit for Kento. Hearing that, Mei got worried and asked if Kento was that seriously wounded. Suddenly, they heard a scream!

Rihito and the rest rushed out, seeing Izumi frightful look. Turning to see what had frightened Izumi, the group were confronted by an advancing mummifed person! The group freaked out and rushed straight back into the room, with the mummy ambling closely behind! (see the little sheep!! so cute!). The mummy started to yell "It's me! It's me!" and started to upwrap the bandage. The group sighed a huge relief "MAMBESHIBA" when they saw Kento being unmasked and panting away.

"Why did you unwrapped it?!" Rika accusingly reprimanded Kento. Kento yelled back at her stating "It's too ridiculous!!! Stupid! I can hardly breathe!" Rihito stepped in reminding Kento that he had to disinfect his wounds properly. Kento replied with gusto that he will be fine after spitting some saliva on it while glaring at Rihito. Mei who was standing by the side asked with much concern if Kento was alright. As Kento nodded silently, Rihito cast a concerned look at a worried Mei. At that, Rika happily announced she will add some disinfectant into a bath and dragged a struggling Kento away. "Who wants to go?!!! I dont want to go!! Stupid!!! It hurts!!!" A relunctant Kento was being shoved and dragged unceremoiously out of the door by the group. Mei looked on worriedly.

That night, Tami asked the white butler what are his plans from now on, and she should have tied up the loose ends the last time. "What are you thinking" Tami asked a silent Shinobu. Sudeenly the silence was interrupted by smashing plates and glasses. Lucia had gone stark raving mad when she didnt see Rihito. Tami tried to appease her but was shoved to the ground and cutting her hands in the process. Lucia then demanded Shinobu to push Mei into the deep abyss of agony at all cost via any unscrupulous means. Shinobu replied in obedience while Tami looked at her bloodied hand and her saviour Lucia sama. "I want her to know what is regret for angering me!!" Lucia agitatedly stated.

Next day in school, Mei asked Kento out for a private talk. "I have yet to thank you." Mei said to a questioning Kento. "I didnt do anything that has a reason for your thanks." kento coolly replied. "But, it's all thanks to you, that I am back, and I...." Mei suddenly paused mid sentence. Seeing her lost in her thoughts, Kento reached out and flicked her hard on her forehead. "Aww! It hurts! What's that for!" a startled Mei yelped. Kento calling her the specky udon gir, replied she was spacing out before adding solemnly "Dont misunderstand, I have yet to give up on you. It is only meaningful after I can determine win/lose outcome with my brother. And also, it only works if you are the one who decide to choose me.So please stop looking like that in future. An ugly girl will only turn uglier." With that last statement, Kento started to chuckle and laugh. Mei's mood also change for the better hearing that, smiled and replied "Well I'm sorry I am ugly!", and then shoved him. Both of them started to banter and laughed. Just then, the relaxed happy mood was again interrupted by Rika and girls about a series of bad news. Mei's classmates were being individually targeted, attacked and hassled by unknown sources!

"It's too strange. To have so many things happening at the same time." Rika stated. "And its all marked against people in this class." Miruku added. The class started to speculate that the person who can summon such a large scale attack has to be someone with huge authority, and it can only be one person who can do it. Kento rightly guessed it has to be Lucia. "because Mei is back to school, so the bullying has begun." Kento shared. Miruku added that while there is lack of evidence, but basically it can probably be affirmed. Mei looked at Rihito with concern and Rihito shook his head to assure her not to.

Back in her own room, Mei sigh and confided in Rihito that she still brought much troubles for everyone else. "it's not Mei sama's fault" Rihito consoled her. "but from now on, Lucia sama will still..." Mei begun but was cut off by Rihito, who reminded her "Right now, you only have to think about how to become the lady that Kintaro Oji sama will be satisfied with." Mei picked up her bell and lamented that she had only collected one stellar to date. Rihito consoled her that she had 3 more years to graduation. Just then, someone knocked at Mei's door and it was the twins!
They announced that they were here to retrieve mei at Hongo sama's invite. Mei and Rihito were surprise and shocked!

At her granfather's place, he told her Mei had eyes like her father and for her not to be nervous. "Do u hate me?" he asked candidly. Mei replied she doesnt. "So.. you are such a kind girl." Hearing footsteps, grandpa turned around and said he had been waiting. Entered Lucia and Shinobu and she said Mei coldly as to why she was here. "I had asked her here" Grandpa replied instead. Before the girls, grandpa announced he had asked them here to decide on the next Hongo successor. The twins started to pronounce the individual background of the two girls.

"Actually, I have already thought about it. That is you. Shiori" Not expecting it, Shiori went "eh?!" in utter surprise. "The successor of Hongo org, is Shiori." grandpa announced firmly to everyone's shock. Rihito's eyes widen in disbelief. The twins followed up saying they would begin to announce the decision to all the international organisation about the choice of sucession. After that, Shiori is to head to America for the sucession ceremony. "Rihito, you also have to go to America for 3 weeks with Shiori." Mei was stunned that her "battle" was all over.

"Mei you can choose to stay in school or abandon the Hongo name, you can decide for yourself." grandpa said to her. An overwhelmed Rihito objected "Please wait a minute!! This is too......"
Grandpa coldly cut Rihito off and stated he had finished what he wanted to say. An overjoyed Lucia happily told Mei that they finally had an outcome. Gloatingly, Lucia told Mei "You dont have to worry, I will still keep that promise I had made to you." (refering to burying her parents together). Mei was too stunned to utter a word.

Back in dorm, Rihito told her not to feel dejected. "How could I not be? This news is even more earth shattering than everything before this. Kintaro san had clearly said it before me." Mei ranted. "There's no way left..." Mei muttered,. "Right..there's no other ways left." Mei turned around to see Tami repeating what Mei had said. Both were shocked to see her and Tami laughed stating that the two do not have to be on the defence since there was no more reason for her to attack Mei. "I have only come to see you as a joke, as a failure to the sucession battle." Tami mocked Mei. "You must hate me too. I permit you to throw me a punch." Tami cheerfully offered.

"Is there a meaning to that?" Mei asked. "I have heard from Mameshiba, that Lucia is your benefactor. With her old wounds revealed, Tami demanded so what, would that excuse her? "So please, you should not hate Lucia sama either! Lucia sama is actually very gentle and kind, it's all because of you..." Tami suddenly stopped herself in mid sentence when Mei said nothing. Tami soften her edge and added that Mei should cherish her remaining time with everyone else. As she was leaving, Mei spotted and asked what happened to her hand and Tami brushed her off saying it has nothing to do with her.

Tami butler waiting outside, revealed Tami's inner thought "You must be wondering, why Mei is a person that one couldnt hate at all. Otherwise, you wont be harboring all the sense of guilt." Tami tried to convince him and herself, repeating that she would not feel any guilt so long as it is for Lucia sama. If she doesnt exists, then there wont be her now. Her butler tried to remind her of what the orphange head mistress had once said to them. "Causing hurt to others will eventually cause hurt to yourself." Tami kept quiet.

In school, the class were bewildered by the news that Lucia is the new sucessor. Rika whispered to Fuji that no wonder all the attacks had ceased, while Fuji replied even Rihito was snatched away. While Miruku said she just dont get it, Rin was more worried as to what Mei would do now.

While alone to the group of them, Rika announced to a depressed Mei that there is a firm 7 votes casted for Mei to elope. Fuji happily announced that Mei and Rihito should eloped. (She is soooo cute here!! I wanted to pinch her sexy butt! haaaa). The rest assured her that they would provide the cash, hiding place, food for her. (the roly poly munchie girl is sooo cute too!!!)

On the other hand, the butler were also holding their own prep talk session with Rihito asking if he felt it was really alright with things being this. The butlers lamented that under Hongo, it would be impossible for them to fled to anywhere without being caught. "but Rihito san doesnt want to part with Mei sama right?" Kiba anxiously piped in. "That will depends on Mei sama" Rihito replied calmly. "However from the way I see it, her aura is of that who has surrendered." Rin's butler shared. "I will wait till Mei sama renewed her faith and stand on her feet again." Rihito shared his belief.

Back to the girls, Izumi stopped the chattering girls from their unconstructive suggestions, and asked Mei what does she think herself? "I dont know." Mei said in resignation.

After much pondering, Kento in increasing frustration confronted Rihito, asking Rihito should think of some plan if he doesnt want to part with Mei. "This is a challenge that Mei sama must accept. It is to see if Mei sama is befitting to become Hongo's lady. " Rihito said. As he recalled the previous scene, Rihito stated that his intentions were already clearly conveyed to mei sama that he would not leave her. "This time, it is Mei sama's turn" Rihito asserted.

As for loony Lucia, she was still rejoicing at being chosen, with Shinobu congratulating her, Lucia turned to ask Shinobu what is his wish and she would try to fulfill it within her powers as Hongo successor. Shinobu thought and said there is nothing he wanted, he is contented just being by her side. Loony Lucia thanked him first, before turning away and declaring insensitively that it has to come to the time for them to part. Shinobu face was crestfallen hearing that.

Mei went to look for head mistress but she wasnt around. As Mei was leaving, she saw Lucia who said it was such a pity. "You must have been wanting to look for head mistress, to discuss ways of removing me from my succession right?" Mei rejected Lucia's accusation and tried to explain she never had such thought but Lucia interjected and ranted "You must be dissatisfied that Rihito got snatched away from you. So just let your grudges explode. Regardless if its hating others or being hated, I am used to it, because I have always been alone all along" Lucia spit out her venom at Mei.

"I have never thought of hating you nor hurting you." Mei said. Lucia then cruelly shared that she would not bury her parents together. "Your father's ashes, your mother's ashes, I would scatter them all over in different places, seperatelly!" "Wait, but you had promised before..." Mei stuttered. "Of course that was a lie. I hate you the most!" Lucia sneered. Rihito who had been evaesdropping had enough, dashed in to drag Mei away from the vengeful loony.

"I have one more thing to share. The headmistress would not stand on your side, perhaps she hates you to the core inside, Didnt Rihito know? The head mistress was previously engaged to Mei's father, it was her mother who stole him away. Your parents are too much." Lucia spitefully revealed to Mei. Rihito tried to stop the crazy bag but Lucia snapped "I too have become a sacrifice!" as she glared at them both. Mei and Rihito went speechless.

In her own room, Mei stared at her family shot and sigh. Rihito approached her but she said it's enough. "There was no meaning to my coming back. What lady.." Mei said in resignation. Rihito told her to stop it. "This is not like Mei sama." Rihito added. "Aint you leaving soon as well?" Rihito kept quiet. Mei stood up and grab her bell saying "To collect all the stellars withing the remaining short time, will that change Kintaro's mind? Do you not have to leave if I become a lady? No right?!! " Mei angrily demanded from Rihito. "It doesnt matter, it doesnt matter anymore" Mei threw the bell to the floor.

Rihito who had kept silent and vexed listening to all her self-wallowing, finally couldnt suppress and hold back his emotions further. In a fit of angry exasperation, he slapped Mei hoping to stop her in her negative state. Mei who felt wronged by Rihito angrily ran out of the room, leaving a shell shocked Rihito to himself. Rika and rest saw Mei running and called out to her but Mei kept running. The girls rushed back to Izumi to say they couldnt catch up and Mei is missing, and asked them to help. "That idiot!" Kento scratched his neck in exasperation and everyone scrambled out immediately on their search. The search was futile. Just as the girls were wondering where Mei could have gone, the roly poly girl heaved a big sigh and suddenly said "I'm hungry...." (OMG! I was laughing soooo hard here!! I lover her genuine cute expression!!)

Meanwhile, Kento and Izumi went back to Natsumi's place and realise Mei wasnt there. Again the search extended. Kento went to the beach where Mei's house was burnt down but she wasnt there either. Kento was at his wits.

Rihito on the other hand approach Lucia in her greenhouse dorm. She happily asked Rihito why he was there since Mei is missing and its chaotic, and asked if he had wanted to discuss about the America trip? Rihito solemnly told Lucia that he felt compelled to tell her his thoughts. "My heart, for now, from now onwards, it will always be linked together with mei sama." Hearing that, Lucia angrily demanded if Rihito thinks he can disobey Kintaro's wishes? "if that is what Mei sama wishes for." Rihito replied. "Stupid! That woman has fled!" Lucia tried to convince Rihito. "The person who had fled is you Lucia sama. Hurting others in order to escape from your own pain, a heart wishing to trample on others. Mei sama is different from you." With that Rihito bowed and walked out leaving Lucia to steam in her own resentment.

Rihito found the headmistress and shared the day's events. "So she has found out. I would not be so anal to hate their daughter because of of a stolen fiance, but I did despise Yu chan" Her butler and her continued to share her past, of how she become fiancee of Mei's dad, and how she become friends with Mei's mum. "When I know their relationship, I had continuously come between them creating obstacles, just like Shiori now. However, when Shoutaro decided to leave Hongo, that was when I woke, the bond between them is not something that allows me to break up. Losing that person had taken the weight off me." Rose mistress shared. "Mei now is undergoing the test" She turned to share with Rihito. Then she remembered and pass something to Rihito.

Looking through Mei's family album, Rihito has an inkling of where she might be. Kento on the otherhand was stopped by the twins, delivering a message from Kintaro. Kintaro asked Kento to go overseas to become an S rank butler. Kento questioned that purpose. It was revealed that Kento's strength and ability to awaken Rihito has caught Kintaro's eyes. Kento rejected saying that he was actually not at all happy about being chosen and questioned Kintaro instead as to why Lucia was chosen as the sucessor instead of Mei, critising that something must be wrong with his eyes!" (Kento is talking to fast i couldnt catch the exact word but I second gues the gist.) Kintaro laughed and commented "mighty spirit for a youngster", and it would have been great if Mei had shown the same spunk as he did. Kinataro further revealed that while Shiori is indeed not healthy, but Mei was lacking something. Kento curiously asked what was it.

"Resolution" Kintaro replied. "The resolve to even snatch to get something one desires. What about you? To capture Mei's heart, to surpass your brother, do you have that resolve?" Kento was quiet when probed by Kintaro.

Alone at a snowy lookout, Mei turned around hearing footsteps. She saw Rihito advanced towards her. "You even know I am here." Mei said. "because I am Mei sama's shitsuji." Rihito smiled and curtsy. "Last year's winter, I came here with mum and dad. This is the place where the 3 of us had fun together for the last time." Mei confided. "Yes, I had heard of it before." Rihito replied. Mei said she didnt know why she suddenly wanted to visit here.

"Is it only painful for you, to bear the bloodline as a Hongo descendent? However, for me, I am glad that Mei sama bears the Hongo bloodlnes, Only because then, I could have met with Mei sama, to become and serve as your Shitsuji." Rihito shared in return. Hearing that heartfelt speech, Mei was filled with emotions. Seeing Mei's expression, Rihito said gently "I'm heading back now. I have to prepare for the trip tomorrow." Before parting, Rihito took out an envelope, "The head mistress ask me to hand this to you." It was a letter from Mei's parents (name written at the back). Mei watched Rihito slowly walking away and finally read the letter addressed to her. She then started to cry as she read the content.

Finishing it, Mei ran with all her might, chasing after Rihito. The letter reads:
" (DAD) Mei, are you well? In event that something happens to mum and dad, this letter is written to the you now, who knows about Hongo family. After knowing about Hongo, Mei will have to make a decision yourself one day. No matter what is your choice, you must have the resolve to gain and lose something in return. Your father me, has made the resolution to leave home in order to protect the people that are important to me. To me, what is important? If your heart understands, then you will know what sort of resolve to have. And when the time comes where you know the answer, then you are to pick up your courage and fight for it!
(MUM) Mei, it will be fine for a kind and strong person like you. For yourself, if you have someone around you who is important to you, and could fight along with you, then for that person, you must give it all your best!"

Mei caught up to Rihito and yelled for him to wait. He turned around and smiled. "I will fight. To realise my dreams, I will fight with all my might!" Mei declared to Rihito. He slowly advanced towards her and gently took mei's hand, folding it into fist while saying "As such, I will then become Mei sama's battle sword." Then he continued to gently place her hand on his chest/ heart and stare passionately into her eyes, Rihito added "And I would be Mei sama 's protective shield." Mei smiled in return and nodded.

The two returned to school filled with renewed fighting spirit! Rihito opened the door and the class were surprised to see Mei return.

"You are back? What happened?" Lucia asked.
"Lucia sama, Hongo Shiroi san, I want to duel with you." Mei declared to the shock of everyone. The sole girls berated Mei for her insolent request but Lucia waved them off.

"So I see. It is St Lucia;s tradition to duel to decide a win/ lose. No one can overthrow that, even grandfather. Is this to fight for your Inheritance?" Lucia asked,
"It has nothing to do with inheritance. This is a duel for Butler Rihito" Mei said.
"How can I accept such a duel?" Lucia asked.
"If I lose, I will leave this school." Mei declared.
"Stop joking, this is of no benefit to me." Lucia said. As she looked at Rihito, she rem Rihito's earlier confession about his heart being with Mei from now on. With that, vengeful Shiori stopped Shinobu in his tracks from wheeling her off.

"Rihito sama, if I win, can you gurantee that you will forget about this woman? To serve me for the rest of your life?" Lucia asked Rihito seriously.
" If that is the condition of the duel." Rihito forced a reply.
"So? In that case let's bet everything. If I lose, I will give up on Rihito, step down from inheritance, and leave this school." Lucia announced.
"And if I lose?" Mei queried.
"You and everyone in this class will leave this school. How about that?" Lucia asked and added, "Such a kind person like you would not want your classmate to suffer right? You have to accept all conditions, if not, then there will be no duel."

Mei hesitated thinking of her friends but Izumi stepped up stating the conditions doesnt bother her. Everyone else chipped in saying its right and asked Mei to do it! Everyone is your comrade! Izumi said. Lucia was pissed! "What a bunch of idiot! Shinobu!!" Lucia said. Shinobu acknowledged and declared "As such, I will represent Lucia sama being her butler in the duel" Rhito stared at Shinobu head on.

"Finally, he is revealing himself!" the butlers started discussing. Kento asked if Shinobu is really that incredible. Daimon said Shinobu has mastered every martial arts in the world, even 100 Russian army cannot defeat him, and a huge battle aura was detected!

"There is no turning back, Mei" Lucia smiled with evilness. "no matter what happen." With that she left.

As lucia left, Mei and Rihito smiled at each other.

"Mei sama, then.." before he can finished, Rihito was hit by an arrow shot through the window! Mei was Stunned! Rihito grabbed the arrow in shock and slowly collapsed. Outside, Tami who fired the shot muttered to herself"It's all for Lucia sama!"

The class was shock as Rihito struggled in pain. Mei screamed at the sight before her!!

Ep 10: Brief synopsis
Basically the duel was on and because of his injuries, Rihito reflexes were slowed and forced to be on defence. Mei staring on the fight, however believed with absolute conviction and faith in Rihito to win the duel. Lucia encouraged Mei to admit defeat. However, Mei said that Shinobu was unable to maximise his potential (since Lucia's heart is not with him) as Mei had learnt in the past during the duel between Rihito and Ayoyama. Mei's conviction seal the deal....Lucia went amok and crazy!

Afterthought

I really really like this epi! It's so funny at much light hearted moments! The roly poly girl really made me laugh when she said she was hungry and realised she shouldnt have! I think everyone including the non primary cast was really amusing!

I am keen to see Shinobu's skill as a super butler. If he isnt S rank butler, can Rihito seriously lose to him? Hmmmm... then what the hell isnt Shinobu an S rank then?!!!

The part when Rihito was walking by himself after he handed the letter to Mei, I was laughing because he was walking the model walk in a straight line with his legs crossing..its irrelvant I know but somehow it stick out so clearly to me! I was like WOOOW! Model Butler!!! And considering Mei should only take 5 mins to read the letter, she was running with all her might for so long (like as if 10mins) and Rihito was only just WALKING! Can he walk fast or what?!!! Oh well. Still, I think no matter what his lip gloss takes the cake. Can you imagine your boyfriend walking in tow with you with shiny shiny lips?.

Does anyone else think Tami is also getting loony like her mistress? She is obsessed man. Does she think Lucia will appreciate her killing Rihito? No way right? So we know Rihito wont die for sure. Prob just injured so that he would lose. Still...how can Rihito sense all attack on Mei in first few episodes not sense such a huge woman outside aiming an arrow at him? Wake up Tami!

I wonder if Kento is going to be S rank? Does this mean there is potentially season 2? I want!!!!!!
I am so dying to watch next week last episode!

On a note here, I will be travelling to Osaka next week and so I probably wont be able to blog the review till I return on Sat. If I can find a internet station, I may try to write a quick snyopsis on the ending. We shall see! Meanwhile... Rihito.....FIGHTING! (^0^)v

Additional thoughts:
Oh oh oh! I forgot to add this thought earlier. I wanted to say I luuuurve how the drama flow so well drawing my emotions! The part when Mei was wallowing in negative thoughts blah blah and Rihito was standing there taking it all in silently, I was really thinking to myself at that exact moment "Bloody hell, Rihito should slap her man to wake her senses!" And next split second, Rihito went "Slap!". I was stunned when what i was feeling was being acted out before me!

While I dont normally tolerate physical violence in real life, but this one is acceptable for me because it wasnt those violent abuse (like last friends) but more like out of concern and love. I think what I admire was how the plot was able to draw such emotions out of me and logically have it in place. Even though Mei was giving up, I never once felt annoyed with her, because I can empathised with how she felt being all lost and all. It is easy to understand and accept her behaviour (unlike *ahem* Jandi *ahem*).

Movie: X-Man Origins: Wolverine

Just watched the sneak preview of the extra long trailer for X-Man Origins: Wolverine... Looks good, Looks action packed and full of adrenaline. I am looking forward to it! Wolverine wasnt my favorite character back when i was reading the comics but in the movies, he certainly is! Credit goes to Hugh Jackman for bringing the character alive I suppose, not to mention propelling a singular character franchise almost as big as Superman and Batman!

Well for X-man fans, here is the new trailer and movie to anticipate for!

Mei Chan no Shitsuji Ep 09 (pending)

I am still waiting for the raw high resolution video version for Mei Chan Episode 09 to be available before I post it out here. There are of course many low crappy ones floating around but I am not going to succumb to those nor subject my readers with those lousy blurry ones. I wont recommend u too either as it does injustice to our Rihito and the cast to say the least :P

The 20th Alliance Francaise French Film festival (Sydney)

I love foreign films. I love heading off to the Japanese and French film festivals! For Japanese film festivals, its almost always screened in the Japanese Foundation Association, whereas the french festival are often screen on large movie screens. I have clean forgotten from lack of use -every bit of my French that I had once picked up in uni, except for sa va, bien, merci, but I still like to watch french movies all the same. At least my French tutor would be able to sigh and find have some redemption in my failure of a student as such.... (^_^)

I always look forward to the The Alliance Francaise French Film festival in any countries I'm stayin in. Last year this time, I had be hanging around Oxford street joining the movie goers for a good time. This year, I am going to miss the 20th festival which is now screening in Sydney till 19th Mar.

Reading off the website, there are couples of movies I would love to watch just from the synopisis from the listing like "Comme les autres", "Le grand alibi", "Un baiser s'il vous plait" and ,more.... (official site). Unfortunately for me, I have to wait till end of the year Dec this time round for the 38th French Cinepanorama festival to arrive in Hong Kong this year. For those who had never given The french film festival a go, how about trying it this year. You will like the quirky witty humour in many of the comedies:)

Boys Before Flowers Ep 18 and 19

Sorry been really busy. Just got back from my stressful Jap test.. my neck is breaking... sensei is out to kill us.... sigh. Doent help when my cough med was kicking in and my drowsiness was making my head spin... oh well. No excuses for a lazy student.

I just remembered I forgot to update Boys Before Flowers episode 18 link! See what med do to one's memory...I suppose most of you would have seen it by now but I thought what the heck, might as well complete the post by indicating it here. Episode 19 is out too. Will talk about what I think later after watching it...and downloading the pixs of my prince Jihoo... haaa haa

Afterthoughts
Ok, Jandi isnt irritating in these 2 episodes. Not sure if it has got to do with the accident and so she cannot do the mopping face that much. Even when she negate on the promise with GJP, I was like Ok, next please. I should be feeling sad or something but she absolutely draws no emotions from me. Is it a drama character flaw or the actress is weak in acting? Hmmm..

GJP is also quite likeable in these 2 episodes being the silly ignorant boy. I was laughing at his expression quite abit when he was fighting with JD brother for the instant ramen portion! And when he was munching on the uncook ramen, quite funny! However, rather than an unwilling guy forced to go out with JK, he looked more like a boyfriend but annoyed by girlfrien esp in the supermarket scene. They look so much like a couple actually and I rather much see them together than him with Jandi. Visually, GJP and JD doesnt cut it for me.

Couple of scenes I liked with Jihoo! Although I must admit his thick coconut hair still hasnt charm me. I miss the chic suave longer hair of his.......I like the part where he was staring off at Jandi in ep 18 at the shrine after the guy told him to cherish JD as she was special. That long yearning lingering stare... (I dont quite get the sub where it was translated "she will give u a family." I was laughing because it reads as if she was going to give Jihoo a baby! haaaa)

There was also the scene when he was waiting for JD at the museum...like a little boy.. so cute! The scene at the bench where he gave her the lotus candle holder was also very sweet. I dont quite understand why the made him wear the riding white pants on a school day but who cares, he looks good!!! Plus I like that Miro art work they were admiring.... my fav artist!

I was so sad for Jihoo when he was crying in the rain. I am so going to watch that part again when the hi-resolution comes on. You know the the part in ep 19, when the sick Jihoo lying in bed suddenly made a grab for JD's hand and clutched on to it..i was like holding my breath so hard!!! and going "Ahhhhhhhhhh!! way to go Jihoo!!!" I half expected him to open his eyes to kiss her but of course that is not going to happen.damn! the funniest one was when he went to kiss YiJung during the truth or dare. hahahahaha.

As usual there are scene that can be done better. For one, who on earth will feel for a fever without flipping over the fringe/hair? With jihoo's so thick fringe, I doubt she can feel anything. Then cold towel on top of the hair? Sigh..Jandi, Cool towel should be place directly on the forehead skin, not hair silly. The part which is most unbelievable is the part where after jihoo got drench and stumble back to his home, he collapsed on JD and yet he was almost delirious in bed in the next scene wearing the same set of drench clothes which are completely dry on him. His house heater must be super strong! Otherwise, without any maids, JD helped him changed? *mind wandering* haaaaa haaaa. These two really look much better together.

It was also very unreasonable for the demolition work to commence without checking for people staying there first. What happen to safety check? So if JD refuse to budge since there is no advance notice, the demolition cannot progress isnt it? Plus, if JD has a legal rental contract, they cannot just forfeit the contract like that legally isnt it? Oh well...just a drama but they should make it less ridiculous. GJP mum is almost like mafia man. In fact, she isnt even afriad to offend Prince song and dad even if they are real mafia?! Hmmmm...

Oh well. The interest in this drama is waning for me because i think they are trying too hard to stretch it and capitalise on Jihoo's fame, milking him to the max. I like Jihoo but the plot is thinning and pace is so slow that it borders on unbearable.. I wish they would just hurry up and get to the main bits!

I forgot I had this until I saw the Vidal Sassoon TV commerical featurin (CM) this song on my cable channel.

Its a catchy groovy track 「Do me more」 from a single working mum Amuro Namie from her "Best Fiction" album. For a mum, she is still freaking HOT! Additional to this track, I like the other 「Sexy Girl 」 (download) as well. It reminded me a little of a some other artist, was it Justin Timberlake? Canx rem. Anywayz, check it out.

There is a slower track 「Wishing on the same star」 (download)I thought was pretty nice though the change in tune was a little odd at some segment. Check it out too.

While there are some detractors about the CD cover being airbrush and photoshop, I still like it even though its a little Barbie feel. My guy friends say it gives them fantasies...*Chuckles*

Manga: The New Prince of Tennis

The new manga continuation series of "The New Prince of Tennis" is out. I was reading the first chapter and hmmm... I wonder who did the translation because its so vulgar. Its very "americanised" with all the "F" swearing in it, where the word is non existent in asian content. I dont understand why the person doing the translation couldnt use a more civilised language. Sigh... I stray from my main point.

I have watched Prince of Tennis animation about hmmm...about 7 years ago when my excolleague recommended it. It's quite funny because the group of us will be taking turn to download it and talking about it during lunch, or sometimes when I am too lazy to head out, lunch time would be anime watching time in my cubicle. My boss used to quite amused at me, laughing away madly by myself at the far corner of the corridor...tucked away at my little corner.... (^o^)V

P.O.T then was not fanciful artwork but I just found it entertaining. I didnt read the manga and so this new series will be my first time reading it. I am sure the next series of animation will be more poised than the old school artwork from before.

Looking forward to seeing how this 2nd installation will build up!

Storyline line taken from Tokyograph

Young actress Maki Horikita will star in a two-part drama special on Fuji TV titled "Chance! Kanojo ga Seikou Shita Riyuu," described as a comical success story. The show will also feature Hitori Gekidan and Meisa Kuroki.

Horikita plays a 22-year-old who struggles to find a job, finally landing one at a travel company. Kuroki plays a career woman at the same firm who happens to have the same last name. One day, they mistakenly take each other's cell phones, and as a result, Horikita's character ends up having to give a critical presentation. This becomes her "chance" at success.

Fuji TV will broadcast the drama at 11:10pm on March 7 and March 14.

Mei Chan No Shitsuji Episode 08 Review

Those keen to watch Mei Chan No Shitsuji Episode 08 (RAW), here is the link. I really enjoy this episode when the 2 brothers fight it out... Kento is a damn cool chap. YAHOO!!! Mei is returning to the school too!!! Somehow I got this weird feeling that the white butler will gradually root for Mei as well?

Thanks to all the feedbacks I got about liking to read my review. I am flattered. BIG Thanks! I also found the time today, so I had rewritten my synopsis into a detailed one. I skipped a little of the irrelevant side scenes. :)

Me Chan Butler Ep08 Detailed Summary

As Mei strolled and past the same beach spot where she had cried earlier, she recalled the scene where after a moment's awareness, Kento quickly released Mei from his hug and apologised, but not before reaffirming that his feelings for Mei will never change. (Kento u are such a sweetie pie!!) Mei's heart felt heavy with this confession that she couldnt reciprocate.

Back at St Lucia school, Mei's classmates were visibly affected by her departure and were listless in all class activities and their daily life. During lunch, Rika asked her bulter if there wasnt any other varieties such as "Udon"..obviously missing Mei. When the class was just sighing, they suddenly heard Mei and Kento's voice. For a split second, they were overjoyed thinkin the two were back, but were quickly disappointed realising they had been deceived by yet another Miruku cute invention, that allows mimicking of voice.

At the meantime, obsessed Lucia was still patiently watching over a sick Rihito, "nursing" him back to health. She "forbade" him to move or think too much and once again grabbed his hands where the white butler look on from outside. Kento on the otherhand, seeing how listless Mei was during dinner at Natsumi's house. tried to keep Mei spirits up through his "usual" bantering and teasing by snatching her food.

After Rihito had recovered, the white butler took a swipe at Rihito, stating that it looks like even S grade butler are not impervious to illness. He added that he had received word from the Hongo family.

Meanwhile, Kento was trying to watch over Mei by pretending to bump into her along the street. Kento clumsily stammered as he tried to raise the topic of what had happened earlier between them. Mei fidget in discomfort at what was to come. Just as Kento was wondering how to offload his thoughts, he noticed that Mei's eyes lit up and was dazedly staring off to a distance. As Kento turned around, he saw an approaching Rihito. Mei remained rooted to the spot and remained speechless when Rihito greeted her stiffly.

"After all that had happened, so what are you still doing here?" Kento asked his brother. "I have come to relay a message from the Hongo family. If you do not return to St Lucia within a week, the Hongo family will ceased payment for your tuition fees and you can never reinstate yourself back to the school. Moreever, Hongo family will also terminate all ties with u, and you will also have to relinquish all rights as an heiress to succeed the Hongo family." Rihito revealed his purpose. "Is that all?" Mei looked away and asked. "Yes" Rihito replied. Mei forced a chuckle and replied she is now aware and thanked him for his hard work. "I have to go start work" and walked off without a second glance. Rihito without a word turned to stare longingly at Mei. Kento who had quiet during the whole conversation until then broke his trance seeing Mei departing and yelled at his Rihito "What on earth are you thinking?!!!!..."and stopped short when he saw the aching and yearning expression on Rihito's face. Kento soften his stance and queried "Brother...?" Rihito sucked in his breath and walked off without further explanation.

When Rihito reported back to Hongo, he was told by the grandfather to return to Lucia's side as he should not forget that Shibata family of butler should only serve the Hongo Sucessor. "Now that Mei is gone, guess you have to return to Shiori." The grandfather lamented. Rihito obliged and accepted his role without any trace of excitement nor objection.

The class girls appeared suddenly at Mei's living quarters and created a huge commotion to Mei's utter surprise!! When the excitement finally quieten down, Rika explained that they were unable to accept her sudden departure without a valid explaination. Seeing Mei's relunctance to explain herself, Kento jumped in to say "Isnt it all because of that woman? Lucia has been threatening her." Mei tried to stop Kento but he stood up and declared that Lucia had always been harrassing picking on Mei, stating if Mei had stayed on in the school, it would be a matter of time before the class got involved and be hurt as well. Some of the butlers and mistress expressed disbelief at Kento's revelation. Then a butler shared if it is a contest as the heriress for Hongo sucessor, then it would be entirely explainable. Izumi chipped in that it was entirely possible while Miruku expressed that was exactly the true face of that woman. Rika angrily scolded Mei for being so silly to quit school because of her worries for them. Mei then quickly added it was not all because of that reason....Kento stole a quick glance at Mei hearing that.

The class then shared the news of Rihito being back by Lucia's side since Mei's departure and asked if it was really alright like this. While everyone was showering concern for Mei, and predicting Rihito reaction if Mei return, may cut them off abruptly stating she has nothing to do with him. Mei then ushered everyone to return back to school. Rika spoke up stating that everyone had specially come to pick her up and Mei need not dispense such attitude towards them. Mei retorted "But it wasnt me who had told you guys to come pick me up!" She then went on to declare she is well back here. The class the continue to hassle her if she had a boyfriend which Rika said such an idiot like her is impossible. The class then went on convinced it was impossible for Mei to have one. Forced to desperation, Mei pointed to Kento as her boyfriend and they are going on a date the next day! The class was shocked!

Rihito meanwhile was told by the white butler that Rihito had only need to stay by Lucia's side while he (the white butker) would continue to perform the butler duties. Hearing that, Rihito turned round to face the white butler, and solemnly asked what exactly is his true intention? "Even if you know, what can the you now possibly do?" The white butler challenged him. Rihito looked away seemingly defeated.

Alone, Rihito was approached by Tami flashing a picture of Mei holding hands with Kento. Tami went on declaring Lucia is different from Mei, in that her heart is soley filled with Rihito and no one else. "Hence I hope you could served Lucia Sama wholeheartedly." Tami said.

Back in class, Mei's classmate greeted Lucia with disinterest and dispassion. The other butlers sacastically shared to Rihito that all had been demoted to ombra rank, since they had offended the "lady sole", fully well refering to Lucia. Kiba walked up to Rihito stating they wanted to speak to him.

Confronted by the bunch of butlers, Rihito was told by Nezu that he had been mistaken about Rihito. "Why didnt you go get Mei back? How could you still so calmly served as Lucia sama's butler?" the group bombarded Rihito with series of questions. "This is my role as a butler to serve the sucessor of the Hongo family." Rihito answered flatly. "So to continue as a butler and betray one's own heart?" Rin's butler questioned him. "if this is what it means to be an S rank butler, then i would rather remained as the me now." Rika butler added. Daimon pleaded with Rihito that wasnt he the one who had given Daimon strength (courage) when Miruku was in a dangerous situation? Nezu added "While I'm not sure if its right to do all that as a butler, but I think the you then is the real you right?" Kiba also chimed in saying that he would suffer anything if it was for Izumi mistress and it was Mei who had told him that it was this feeling that was the most important." "We cannot watch who you are now." Rika's butler threw his last thoughts and stormed off, followed by other butlers. Tami's butler gave an understanding pat on Rihito before he left. Rihito was resigned by the group's reactions.

The head mistress at Mei's place started to share her past with Mei's mother, stating that Mei's mum had been equally lively and well liked by her peers, though regretably, they had not been able to graduate together due to failed family financial and society status. While she may have lost everything then, yet she gained something else which was Mei's father. She had won him over through her relentless pursuit and he chosen to abandon his Hongo status to be with her."There are some words I like to state upfront. A person without the heart to fight, will not have any happiness so to speak." With that advice, the head mistress left Mei to her own thoughts.

At the library, the white butler passed a searching Rihito a book, stating that would be Lucia's preference. He then added that with Rihito by her side, Lucia is most contented now compared to all those years. Rihito asked what is he trying to say. "I just want to know your thoughts. After tomorrow, Mei sama can never return here again." the white butler said. "That is mei's sama choice." "That is what is termed as an excuse. You are the one who had chosen to escape, Rihito-kun . You are escaping from your own pain. " The white butler wisely pointed out the facts. Rihito told him to stop. "In the end, you have chosen to serve shioro sama because she accepted an empty shell. Staying by Mei sama side, you will be unable to suppress your own feelings towards her." The white butler continued mercilessly. "I told you to be quiet!" Rihito turned to him agitatedly. The white butler insulted him one last time before leaving. (sorry I have no idea the equivalent english word for the insult..i shall ask my jap friends and find out later the actual saying)

While walking with Mei, Kento was talking about their exclassmates and Mei was acknowledging with monosyllabus reply. Kento stopped in his tracks. When Mei finally realised and turned around, Kento asked sadly "Where are u now?" Mei went Eh? "Where are you? Who are you talking to? The one that is before you in your eyes now, isnt me right? " Kento asked profoudly. "Mabeshiba..." Mei uttered in surprise. "The person you are now, isnt the Mei that I knew, the May that I liked..." With that, Kento went on ahead leaving Mei alone to her thoughts and emotions.

While Rihito was wallowing in self agony, Kento was alone to his own thoughts by the beach recalling those moments with Mei. He yelled "What am I suppose to do?!!!" as he laid down in frustration. Mei on the other hand was also confused and struggling with her own set of emotions. Kento recalled his brother's anguished expression staring at Mei's departing figure at the last meeting and finally made his own decision. The next morning, Rihito was surprised to see his younger brother before him. The girls rushed to the class when they heard about it and asked what was happening.

Basically Kento wanted a duel with Rihito. "If we dont settle this properly, it would never go away... The you inside Mei, and the Mei inside you." The class went quiet. "Kento..." Rihito said. Kento cut Rihito off and yelled at him. "Be a man! Go for it!" (Ok, there isnt really an equivalent english word for "Haki"-覇気, I gather it is similar as have a drive/vigor. So I translated that kento was telling his brother to go all out in the duel and stop hesitating)

"Stop acting like nothing matters!" Kento lurged at Rihito and gave him a swift punch! (i thought Kento is sooo cooool here! Fighting for his love!) After being hit, Rihito still didnt stir from his passive mode. "Come here!" Kento yelled again and made a grab at Rihito's jacket and punch him again. Rika tried to stop the match but was told that, sometimes a duel is a method at how men resolve their differences. Nezu told his worried mistress to let them fight it out. "It is now that test his determination." Rin's butler added. Tami watch on with interest as Kento rained punches to his brother. Kento ranted at a defeated Rihito.

"Stop lying! Do you really not care about Mei anymore?" Staring at him, Kento passionately let lose his inner feelings.. "I have grown up with Mei. If I could just keep by Mei's side, I would do anything!" After an emotional pause, Kento declared "I would not lose to you. I am relunctant to give Mei up to you!!!"

Hearing that heartfelt confession from Kento, the determination and desire was fired up within Rihito!!! (COOOOOOOOl!) "Kento" Rihito looked at his brother in the eye with renewed strength. Kento headed to serve another punch but Rihito swiftly ducked the blow and punched Kento instead! Tami wanted to leave but her bulter firmly grabbed and told her to stay to finish watching Rihito feelings for Mei.

Mei arrived in the middle of the renewed fight. The butlers stopped her only to tell her the fight between the brothers was for her sake, before parting the scene before her. She witnessed kento declaring "I will not give Mei up to you!" and Rihito taking the challenge seriously! The brothers punch it out but Rihito beat the daylights out of Kento. Mei stunned back away but was stopped by the head mistress who asked her to view the fight carefully. Mei and the girls were overwhelmed by the relentless exchange of blows before them. Eventually both grew tired but refusing to back down.

Kento with his last ounce of might, stumbled in his advanced and fell into Rihito's arm. "I cannot be defeated. I..." "Me too." His brother gently patted him on his back gaining understanding. Kento collapsed to the floor and started sobbing to himself. Rihito then turned around and spotted Mei!

"I am asking for the last time. Will you return? Or will you quit?" The head mistress asked. Rihito walked towards Mei and apologised for appearing in a mess before her. It's also my slip for not bringing you back. However, I am finally clear headed and see clearly. I would never leave Mei's side even by a step."

As he kneeled down, he said "because, I am Mei sama's shitsuji (butler)" Rihito raised his hands to his mistress and Mei took it gingergly. "Welcome back" Rihito said to her warmly. Everyone smiled with much relief. kento on the other hand muttered "What on earth am I doing" as he continued to lay on the floor.

Mei and Rihito reaffirmed their bond staring at each other with much emotions. (awww so sweet!)

Afterthoughts

I liked this episode and i really admired Kento at how he would really do everything to make Mei happy, even if it means he may lose out. He placed Mei's smile above himself and was not selfish to hold her to himself. I think somehow while Rihito is cooler and I certainly root for him and Mei together, yet i can deny Kento's spirit and character in these few episodes was more to my liking. Kento has shown himself to be more of a man, always defending and protecting Mei and never once waver to uncertainty. he didnt want to possess Mei, he only want her happiness which is why he was willing to fight it out. he only knew his brother's liking and he wanted a fair fight/ competition. How manly! Rihito because of his confusion of his growing affection for Mei, seemed to fall more easily to bouts of self doubt and despair- this is something I hoped not to see again!!

Next week ep 09 will be suspensful! Lucia went stark raving mad when she "lost" Rihito and hence ordered the white butler and Tami to destroy/hassle Mei and make her life hellish! The grandfather is going to pick his sucessor. However he is mad if he is going to pick a mad woman as his sucessor.
